Is It Good To You? (Self-Care Tidbits with Ensoapothecary)

This episode focuses on the practice & benefits of mental/physical wellness but most importantly the balance thereof.

Featured Guest:

When we organize ourselves and know what to expect, it’s easier to actively work towards counteracting the thoughts and symptoms associated with the attacks we experience on our health/mental wellness.

  • Eat the right foods

  • Maintain a healthy emotional state

  • Move the body in a way that prevents injury

Maintaining balance in the midst of a pandemic:

  • With Self: Think about the activities you engage in on a daily basis. This could mean giving yourself 15-20 minutes a day to enjoy one of your favorite actives. Meditate. Listen to music. Exercise. Read. Journal. Whatever it is make sure to to nurture yourself in every possible way on a daily basis. Every opportunity you have to feed into yourself. Take it.

  • In Relationship: Some of us are stuck inside looking at the same group of people we only expected to see for a week at best. Parents are losing it. Some couples are getting more time together than they ever dreamed of. It can be draining yes. But find common ground. What are some shared interest? Boardgames. Netflix. Purging (Joking of course. 10/10 would not recommend)

  • While Working: Keeping motivation in the midst of a difficult time can be difficult. If you are still working in with the general public please adhere to all safety precautions. If you’ve been granted the luxury to work from home. Be thankful. If possible dig deeper into your profession. Network. Engage. Catch up on recent developments within your organization.

Here's an article written by CNBC to help you tackle some of the financial stressors & forms of anxiety brought on as a result of current events:
